Sayklly's Candy The Sayklly tradition actually began in 1906 when Lebanese emigrant, Joe Sayklly established a small grocery on the main street of Escanaba, Michigan. To supplement the regular grocery items, Joe used recipes from "the old country" to make ice cream, chocolates and peanut brittle. Sayklly's evolved into an elaborate soda fountain specializing in homemade ice cream and confectioneries that delighted locals and visitors alike. Now, sample their specialties!
